On Friday, May 16, former Lawton Chiles High School standout Andy Thies’ current collegiate team the UW Whitewater Warhawks won 8-6 against the Adrian Bulldogs in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at Nicolay Field at 2:45 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Adrian Bulldogs in the tournament.
The UW Whitewater Warhawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Nicolay Field.
