On Friday, March 21, former North Florida Christian School standout Emma Brice’s current college team, the West Florida Argonauts, won 10-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Union Bulldogs.
The game took place at Fesmire Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Argonauts’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Fesmire Softball Field against Union Bulldogs.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
