The Florida State swimming and diving team continued its participation at the 2026 ACC Swimming and Diving Championships on Monday at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
Redshirt senior Kayleigh Clark achieved her second top-10 finish of the championships, placing 10th in the one-meter preliminary round with a score of 253.15. This follows her fourth-place result in the three-meter final on Sunday evening.
On the men’s side, sophomore Carlos Vargas led Florida State in the three-meter event, finishing 14th with a score of 337.55. Vargas improved his standing by four places compared to his performance at last year’s ACC Championships, where he finished 18th.
“It was a competitive day,” said FSU head coach Neal Studd. “We saw some strong efforts in prelims and will look to keep building as the week progresses.”
Competition will continue Tuesday starting at 10:30 a.m., beginning with platform diving events. The swimming portion is set to start Tuesday evening with both the 200 medley relay and 800 medley relay events.
All sessions are available for live streaming on ACC Network Extra, and live results can be accessed throughout the week. Additional information and schedules are provided on TheACC.com. Updates are also shared via Florida State’s official Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
