On Saturday, May 17, former Lawton Chiles High School standout Andy Thies’ current collegiate team the UW Whitewater Warhawks won 4-3 against the Washington Bears in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at Nicolay Field at 2:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Washington Bears in the tournament.
The UW Whitewater Warhawks’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Nicolay Field.
