Florida State University’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship has introduced the InNOLEvation Marketplace, an online platform aimed at promoting and supporting student-run businesses on campus.
The new platform allows FSU students to display their products and services through individual storefronts. It is part of the college’s focus on experiential learning, giving students practical experience in areas such as branding, marketing, customer engagement, and business operations. Each profile on the Marketplace links directly to the student’s website or social media page so that buyers can view offerings and make purchases.
According to the college, any FSU student with a product or service can join the Marketplace without cost. The initiative is open to students from all majors and levels of experience. “Whether a student is running a full business or simply exploring an idea, the platform offers a supportive space to grow, experiment and gain exposure,” according to the announcement.
The InNOLEvation Marketplace aims to make it easier for student ventures to be discovered while fostering collaboration among creators, members of the FSU community, and local supporters. New businesses are added throughout the year.
Some current participants include ArtbyBrianne (offering original prints and jewelry holders), Bug’s Beads (custom beaded jewelry), Thriftly (a peer-to-peer buying and selling platform for students), and Knots and Hooks (crocheted designs).
Brooke Abbott, who is studying commercial entrepreneurship at FSU, leads All the Goods Gluten-Free Bakery. Brianne Miller, pursuing a degree in marketing, runs ArtbyBrianne.
