On Friday, March 28, former Lincoln High School standout Gwen McGinnis’ current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Florida Southern Moccasins.
The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Moccasins this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Florida Southern Moccasins.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
