On Friday, April 11, former Leon High School standout Ian Swanson’s current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.

The game took place at Bauer Field. This was their first matchup against the Battling Bishops this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Bauer Field against NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.
