On Sunday, April 13, former Lawton Chiles High School standout Ashlynn Pauwels’ current college team, the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UCCS Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Yellow Jacket Field. This was their third matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Yellow Jacket Field against UCCS Mountain Lions.
