On Saturday, April 5, former Aucilla Christian Academy standout Ashlyn Rogers’ current college team, the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lander Bearcats.
The game took place at Doug Spears Field. This was their third matchup against the Bearcats this season.
The Hurricanes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Bobcat Softball Field against Georgia Bobcats.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
