On Saturday, May 10, former Lincoln High School standout Gwen McGinnis’ current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Barry Buccaneers.
The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Buccaneers this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 15 at 5 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Auburn Montgomery Warhawks.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
