On Sunday, April 13, former Leon High School standout Will Newell’s current college team, the Dayton Flyers, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the George Washington Colonials.

The game took place at Woerner Field. This was their third matchup against the Colonials this season.

The Flyers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. at Woerner Field against Ohio Bobcats.
