Rep. Toby Overdorf, a member of the Florida House of Representatives, recently shared several updates on his official Twitter account, highlighting personal celebrations, local achievements, and legislative responsibilities.
On May 10, 2026, Overdorf posted a Mother’s Day message expressing appreciation for mothers: “Happy Mother’s Day from my family to yours! Moms are often some of the strongest people we know. They nurture, they love, and they believe in us, even when no one else does. So proud to stand beside three generations of incredible mothers whose endless compassion inspires me”.
Two days later, on May 12, 2026, he congratulated Martin County High School’s athletic team for their advancement: “What a come back! Martin County for the win! @GoMCHSTigers to the State Finals!!!”.
Also on May 12, Overdorf commented on the state budget process and his role as a legislator: “Adopting a final budget is where the rubber meets the road. As responsible stewards of taxpayer money, we’re tasked with investing in Florida’s future with cost-effective initiatives that drive progress. This is a reminder of why I serve my fellow Floridians. I’m excited to bring”.
Overdorf has served as a representative in Florida’s legislature since being elected in 2018 and has focused on fiscal responsibility and community engagement during his tenure.
