On Saturday, April 26, former Lawton Chiles High School standout Ashlynn Pauwels’ current college team, the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets, lost 12-8 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at Yellow Jacket Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 1:30 p.m. at All Star Park against Metro State Roadrunners.
