In the next matchup against Texas Southern on February 7, she recorded 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, eight rebounds, and three steals while playing just over 33 minutes.
Throughout both contests, McCarthy made 13 out of her 15 free throw attempts and helped secure late-game leads for Florida A&M. Her total contributions across the two games included 37 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, and only three turnovers in more than seventy minutes of play.
