Florida A&M University Athletics issued the following announcement on July 13.
Vice President & Director of Athletics, Kortne Gosha, announces the addition of Josh Padilla, Devin P. Grimes, and Patrick Perala to the Athletic Communications & Digital Strategy Department.
Josh Padilla joins Florida A&M University Athletics as the new Director of Communications and Digital Strategy. Padilla comes to FAMU after a short stint at Middle Tennessee State University. Padilla played a pivotal role in ensuring that the Blue Raider football program led the way in digital content among Conference USA programs. In this role, Josh will oversee athletics communication, social media, and digital content.
Devin P. Grimes, also from MTSU, joins the Rattlers as the new Assistant Director of Communications and Photography. Grimes covered all home sporting events for the Blue Raiders, alongside all freelance photography for Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith and MLB All-Star Mookie Betts.
Patrick Perala joins the Rattlers as a Graphic Designer after several years as a freelance graphic designer. Perala has done design work for Florida International University men's basketball, Duke Athletics, and Middle Tennessee State University football.
