We have Jelani Marks, Housing Services Manager in the Office of Human Services & Community Partnerships (HSCP). During our Employee Appreciation Banquet, Jelani was the recipient of the Ladder Award for career well-being.

Jelani joined the County six years ago as an unpaid intern and quickly worked his way up through the Office of Management and Budget before joining HSCP earlier this year. He utilized his educational skills earned through his Florida A&M University Master's Degree in Applied Social Science and professional development at Leon County to climb the ladder benefiting his career and the organization. Now, as Housing Services Manager, Jelani is leading the County's effort to increase and preserve the stock of affordable housing in the community. Great job, Jelani! We are so proud to have you on the Leon County team.
