This #WOWWednesday, we’re highlighting Mallory Adams, Community Resources Specialist with the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System. Mallory started with the County as an intern in the Office of Human Services & Community Partnerships (HSCP) before joining the library in mid-2022. Because her position is new to the library, Mallory has been focusing on developing the program and setting a foundation for it to be a successful and lasting service offered to our community. During the last six months, she has worked to develop local partnerships and bring providers into County libraries to make important resources more easily accessible, such as free legal aid clinics called "Lawyers in the Library" in partnership with Legal Services of North Florida and public health events with Bethel Missionary Baptist Church’s Mobile Medical Unit and other local partners. When she’s not working, Mallory loves to walk local trails and take road trips to St. George Island with friends or a good book. We’re so happy to have Mallory on board to help residents access essential community resources, and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
