Census Bureau: 78.2% of people in Gadsden County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 44,233 citizens living in Gadsden County in 2021, 78.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 34,589 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 16,275 were male, constituting 47.1%, and 18,314 were female, making up 52.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Gadsden County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
