There were 35,407 students enrolled in Leon County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Florida Department of Education.

Data also showed that the ninth-grade had the biggest classes with 3,119 students, while pre-kindergarten had the least number of students that year with just 436 students.

Countywide, Leon County Schools District welcomed the most students during the 2022-23 school year.
