Today, Congressman Neal Dunn from Florida's 2nd District expressed his congratulations to Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. Governor Ron DeSantis has selected Moody to become the next Senator from Florida. She will take over the position soon to be vacated by Senator Marco Rubio, who is set to join the Trump administration as Secretary of State.
In his statement, Congressman Dunn praised Moody's dedication and service. "Attorney General Moody has been a relentless advocate for the people of Florida with a long history of arguing for their interests in the courts," he stated. He highlighted her achievements and commitment, adding, "Her determination to deliver results for all Floridians is evident from her long track record of legal victories and commitment to getting results."
Dunn also expressed his enthusiasm about working alongside Moody in Washington, saying, "Ashley Moody will be an outstanding Senator, and I’m thrilled to work with her on Capitol Hill to continue delivering results for the people of Florida."
