These former Tallahassee Metro area high school athletes are set to compete on Thursday, June 4.
Florida State men’s golf juniors Tyler Weaver and Jack Whaley have been recognized with All-America honors following standout seasons. Weaver achieved multiple individual accolades including winning a major collegiate event; Whaley finished strong through postseason competition.
On Thursday, June 11, these former Tallahassee Metro area high school standouts will be in action.
Florida State’s track and field teams head to Eugene for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with seven men and eight women competing across multiple events. Athletes such as Andre Korbmacher, Shenese Walker, Shamar Reid, Rylee Blade, and Kayla Pinkard are among those representing FSU this week.
