Florida Gateway College enrolls 3,385 undergrads

At Florida Gateway College, 66 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Lake City enrolled 3,385 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

99 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 1 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).
