Cost of college went down for all students at the Aveda Institute-Tallahassee

Tuition and fees fell 6.6 percent for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Tallahassee, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida students paid $15,500 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $3,495 more than the $12,005 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 121 students received grants or scholarships totaling $611,423 and 121 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (484), 427 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.6 million, and 419 students took out $3 million in federal student loans.
