City of Monticello issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.
The Monticello City Council is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Historic Design Reviw Board. Board Membership is a voluntary position, and members shall own property in and reside within the city limits. Board Members shall have demonstrated special interest, experience, or education in history, architecture, or the preservation of historic resources. Board meetings are at least quarterly and are held in the evenings. A letter of interest and outline of experience and knowledge should be submitted to the City Council, c/o City Clerk, 245 S.
