GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla – Gadsden County residents will have an opportunity to get expert advice on keeping themselves, their families and their property protected at Gadsden County's Division of Emergency Management Hurricane Preparedness events throughout the County.

Gadsden County Emergency Management officials are organizing the events – which will feature vendors – and an opportunity to see life-saving rescue equipment and vehicles before they are pressed into emergency service.
“We’re hoping to better prepare and educate Gadsden County residents on what they need to do to get ready for Hurricane Season,” said Tashonda Whaley, Interim Director of the Gadsden County Division of Emergency Management. “We want our residents to know about the importance of learning their evacuation routes, the strength of their homes, and what needs to be included in their family’s hurricane kit.”
