June 1 marks the starts of the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season. For the seventh consecutive year, NOAA is forecasting an above-average hurricane season with 14 to 21 named storms.
To help citizens be prepared for disasters, the County released the 2022 Disaster Survival Guide and launched the Leon Ready webpage, a hub of resources to help individuals, their family, and their neighborhood prepare for disasters.
