FOIA Request to the State University System of Florida Regarding Employee Salaries for 2023 was sent on November 15, 2024. The request was made by a reporter from Tallahassee Sun, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.
The request specifically asked for records under the Article I, section 24 of the Florida Constitution, and chapter 119, F.S., preferably in electronic format. The data points requested include employee's first name, last name, institution name, position held, department they work in, their pay rate and year-to-date gross pay for the year 2023.
