The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time benefitted position of Groundskeeper in the Parks & Facilities Department.
Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of semi-skilled maintenance work. Responsibilities include performing landscape and related services required to maintain safe and attractive grounds throughout the county. The Groundkeeper reports to the Parks & Facilities Management Technician and will complete a variety of park maintenance related tasks that includes but is not limited to installation, cleaning, landscaping, and general labor.
ABILITIES: Ability to lift 50 lbs.; climb ladders; work weekends (alternating); work holidays (possible); pass a background and drivers’ license check. Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
