“I wanted to take a minute to express my appreciation to the Station 7 Crew that was on Sunday – Lt. Guzman, Eng. Morris and FF Orlando.”
“I have been playing pickleball and met a lovely couple whose 3 yr. old grandson is obsessed with everything fire department. Unfortunately, this little guy has severe eczema and food allergies that has interfered with him being able to be out of the house hardly at all. Well, he begin feeling better and his grandmother asked whether it might be possible to bring him to the fire station, the grandparents live right around the corner from Station 7…Needless to say – it was a total hit – 3 year old was in heaven, of course a little shy but over the moon along with his 5 year sister. The crew could not have been any better – they showed them the truck and all its tools. They let them crawl all over it, put on their gear and even did the lights and sirens. They pulled out the red carpet for these 2 kiddos and their parents and grandparents were soooo appreciative. I do have to say, I believe the adults enjoyed themselves just as much to see the truck .”
“Please express mine and the families gratitude to them for making a difference. It made me proud as a retiree to see that the tradition continues to provide our community its highest level of service with a commitment of excellence in fire prevention to firefighting and all that comes in between!!”
