Leon County Schools District had the highest enrollment among Leon County school districts, welcoming 32,212 students during the 2022-23 academic year, a decrease from the 32,562 in the previous school year, according to the Florida Department of Education.

The most represented ethnicity among Leon County Schools District students was Black or African American, accounting for 42.1% of the student population.
