A huge  to the Moore Agency who spearheaded the effort to bring holiday joy to all of the John G. Riley Elementary School kindergartners in conjunction with the TalChamber Classroom Connection’s business sponsors.

Each kindergartener went home with a picture of themselves with Santa (Shannon Baker) and Mrs Clause (Marsha Baker), bags of presents, sweet treats, and a food box to help keep them fed over the holiday break. And, the glow stick dance party was pretty epic!

Shannon Smith from Moore said that, “The ‘we’ was a true team of doers who proved that when you ask for help and donations, and you lead by giving, people will step up. And when they do, the power is compounded and it can make an incredible difference.”

The “We” were the five Riley Classroom Connection partners that helped to make this happen (The Moore Agency, MILLCREEK Financial Services, Ausley McMullen, Merrill Lynch, Prime Meridian Bank).

And  FASTSIGNS and graphic artist Joey Arellano, Cyrus Calhoun III and Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs., TC Bakery, Midtown Reader, Vision First Advisors, Premier Fine Homes, GroundOps Roastery + Bakehouse, Sparkle Tallahassee, GypsyRose Boutique Market, and Second Harvest of the Big Bend who supplied the 100 food boxes.

Plus hundreds who donated new coats and toys and winter gear for all Riley students!

Shannon said it best that, “These children are going home over the holiday break knowing they are seen, loved and cared for by their school and their community.”
